Here at Spire we know that every moment counts for our children. This includes our lessons, our break times with friends and our celebration assemblies: every minute makes a difference to our time at school. Please find below our timetable for the school day.

Our School Day 

Breakfast Club: 7.45 a.m. - 8.30 a.m. (£2.50 per day) 

Registration & Handwriting: 8.30 a.m. - 8.40 a.m.

Lesson 1 – Writing: 8.40 a.m. - 9.45 a.m. 

Spelling/phonics: 9.45a.m. - 10.00 a.m.

Break Times: 10.00 a.m. - 10.15 a.m.

Lesson 2 - Maths: 10.15 a.m. – 11.15 a.m.

Lesson 3 - Reading: 11.15 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.

Lunch: 12.00 p.m. - 1.00 p.m.

Registration & Whole Class Reading: 1.00 p.m. - 1.15 p.m.

Assembly: 1.15 p.m. - 1.30 p.m.

Lesson 4 - Wider Curriculum and Foundation Subjects: 1.30 p.m. - 3.05 p.m.

Home Time: 3.05 p.m.

Our whole school assemblies are on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 1.15 p.m. We also hold our Gold Award assemblies on a Friday at 2.30 p.m. 

The children are in school every week for a total of 32 hours and 55 minutes.
